Berlin, Auschwitz, Krakow - Year 9 History school trip

Here are a few of my photos from the end of school year trip to Berlin, Poland and Auschwitz! As with every year 9 camp it was exhausting! Enjoy the pics, there are lots of them!

My girls!

Heading to the hotel in Berlin!

TV Tower -Berlin. We caught the lift up!

Nothing like a Bratwurst

"SANDSATION" The BEST sand castles in the world -Berlin!!!

Sonia, fellow teacher, and I in front of the biggest castle!

The Reichstag

Buskers outside of the Reichstag. They eased the 1.5hour pain of waiting in line... and seemed to quash the amount whinging.

The kids on the steps in front of the Reichstag

"Whats the deal with the Wall?"

A foot in the East and one in the West. Lorna with Richard, Or "Reg Hollis". His character was definitely based on this kid.

Hitlers 1936 Olympic stadium. Most recently and famously used for the Soccer World Cup Final. Absolutely sensational.

Berlin zoo. More walking wasnt too appealing. All I could be bothered with was the Polar Bears! Exhaustion had set in!

Getting off the overnight train

Krakow

Rapunzel's tower? -Wavel castle, Krakow

Part of Wavel Castle -Krakow

  1. Hey guys, love the pics. The ones of Germany look amazing! We are in NZ at the moment and about to go and meet Matt's folks at the airport before heading around the South Island for a few weeks. Starting to get exhausted and looking forward to not having to carry our bag of hats from Bolivia around anymore!!
