Egypt Day 4 - An afternoon at Kom Ombo temple كوم أمبو

Facts:

1. Whilst our crew was organising our surprise candlelit dinner on shore we were whisked away to Kom Ombo temple.

2. Kom Ombo is part of a temple built by Tuthmosis III in honor of the crocodile-headed god Sobek

3. There were 3 mummified crocs on display.

4. At this site there is a "Nilometer" used to measure the level of the river waters. Cool huh?

5. This is the first place where we started to see colour evident on the interior of the temple roofs.... Coooooooooool.

6. There was some really interesting hieroglyphics... See if you can find the ones we mean...

7. It was hot and Lucy felt REALLY sick.
